The Shanti Som Wellbeing Retreat features 14 elegant rooms and suites whose decor blends Western and Asian elements. These are divided into twelve Premium Rooms and two Junior Suites. In addition to all standard amenities (air conditioning, safe, and more), the Premium Rooms also feature a balcony or terrace with views of the surrounding picturesque forest and mountains (approx. 25 sqm).
The slightly more spacious Junior Suites feature a large terrace and a view of the hotel’s own oriental garden with three lagoons (approx. 50 sqm).

This retreat offers a culinary experience featuring Asian fusion cuisine made primarily with local ingredients. Look forward to balanced, healthy, Asian-inspired meals at the “Samsara” restaurant, which offers a relaxed atmosphere and modern dining rooms.
Breakfast: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Lunch: 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Dinner: 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
You start the day with a breakfast buffet and have the option of choosing from a varied menu at lunchtime and in the evening. One drink (wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages) is included with each meal.

The resort is located in the 180-square-kilometer Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, a biosphere reserve in the province of Málaga on the Costa del Sol. This ensures that your resort is surrounded by pine, almond, lemon, and olive trees, as well as a vast forest.
Hike with a guide through the area surrounding the resort, observe the extraordinary vegetation, and discover a wide variety of fruits. The landscape is characterized in particular by the extensive rocky areas and plateaus of the so-called "Sierras Blancas" and "Sierras Rojas" made of white limestone and reddish dolomite. You can also discover the Pinsapo fir trees, which grow only in Andalusia and Morocco. The Sierra is also known for its numerous Iberian ibexes, deer, and wild boars.
The Shanti Som Wellbeing Retreat is located four kilometers from the town of Monda; Marbella and the beaches of the Costa del Sol are about a 15-minute drive away. The nearest airport is Málaga Airport-Costa del Sol, which is about 40 km from the resort.
A private airport transfer costs about €70 one way (€140 round trip) and is paid for on-site at the resort. Alternatively, we recommend renting a car so you can explore southern Spain on your own.

Itinerary:
You can customize your itinerary however you like—meaning you can spend the whole day relaxing on the beach or participate in as many classes and activities as are included in your travel package (all services are as listed below under “Included Services”).

Please note that your period may be fully booked at short notice due to dynamic booking procedures. This means that we cannot always guarantee that the selected trip will be available at the requested time in combination with a specific room. In any case, we will immediately check all travel components with the organizer on site so that we can guarantee you a final response within 48 hours! In the rare case of unavailability, we will offer you an alternative option directly: Either in comparable accommodation or for a slightly different travel period.
